The Rosemont operations include Rosemont open pit and underground mine, as well as Baneygo open pit.
The Rosemont and associated surface deposits are mined using conventional open pit mining truck and shovel methods. The Rosemont underground produces approximately 600Ktpa and is mined using mechanised open stoping.
The plant design is based on a nominal 2.5Mtpa thorughput rate and utilises a two stage crushing circuit and single ball mill to produce slurry that is pumped via a 12km pipeline to the Garden Well carbon in leach circuit.
